Jazmine Sullivan

JazmineJazmine was raised and born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Pam her mother has been a backup singer in the past at Philadelphia International Records. When she was five Her father was appointed to be Philadelphia's Historic Strawberry Mansion curator. The family then moved into the building's historic structure. As a 2005 Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts student who is majoring in the field of vocal music. Sullivan began singing as a contralto in the kids' choir, before joining shortly after, she was a part of the adult group. Sullivan experienced only a small amount of secular music. She recalls that she was 11 when someone asked her to sing solos in church. She wasn't yet ready for. "Then when McDonald's was hosting a competition for children in cities of the world I had the opportunity to sing 'Accept What God Wills' on Showtime on the Apollo and the audience was very enthusiastic". Stevie Wonder sang her part during his 13th birthday celebration. Sullivan, at age 15 began her career with Jive Records. The label recorded her an entire album. But the album was never released. Sullivan was later dropped from the label. She had a good working partnership to Missy Elliott. Elliott produced some of her tracks and tracks, such as "Backstabbers" and "Backstabbers," which was written by Timbaland.
