Maureen FitzSimons' early achievements in performing arts (now known as Maureen O'Hara), would be considered, in America's eyes, into the class of child prodigies. For a child of Irish background, surrounded by talented parents and family members, those were not innate traits. Maureen moved into this loving home on the 17th of August 20 in Ranelagh. Marguerita Lu. FitzSimons was a successful contralto. Her father, Charles FitzSimons, managed an enterprise in Dublin and also owned part of the renowned Irish soccer club "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons was the second child from Charles FitzSimons. Peggy FitzSimons, Florrie Fitzsimons Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons rounded out this wonderful family. Maureen was an athletic natural and loved playing sports. In addition to this, she had a gift acting. It was evident by her winning pretty much every Feis awards for drama and the stage that her country had to offer. By age 14 she was invited into the world-renowned Abbey Theater and pursued her dreams of classical theatre along with operatic music.
